The Nordic Archives

Highlighting art, design, photography, illustration and architecture from the most inspiring artists and creative from the Nordic countries, a curated digital archive is no available at the The Nordic Archives webshop and in selected stores around the world. In addition to make the Nordic style accessible worldwide The Nordic Archives aim is to create a platform that will inspire and engage the diversity of art from the young to the renowned established, and give the opportunity to promote their work to an international audience through the website, pop up galleries and exhibitions. A deeper understanding and appreciation of artwork is also part of the aim, by showing behind the scenes footage with interviews an visual journeys. All the exclusive editions of prints are printed at Print House in Oslo, focusing on sustainability by using high quality paper. The limited editions are numbered and supplied with a certificate of authenticity. The Nordic Archives launches today, November 17, with an exhibition at Norwegian Icons in Tokyo. The same exhibition opens in Oslo November 30 at Folketeaterpassasjen and Revir.
