The Warm Modern Issue

It is a clear tendency to look towards the continent, to the elegant tone of Italy to Parisian apartments with details and tableaus, to British coziness and old lounge chairs. We dare to claim that minimalism is more rare in these days, but the hardcore Scandinavian style is of course present in the homes of strict aesthetics. Nowadays we observe shelves furnished with artifacts from journeys around the world, and well planed tableaus on every table. Homes we are visiting oozes of cosines, confident personality and comfort, heavy curtains and big sofas, dark veneer panels, décor, colors and chairs not necessarily from a well known designer. Staying at the relatively new Hotel Sanders in Copenhagen made us realize the desire for comfort and homely, personal wellbeing. It is a long time since we’ve seen wall lamps with lampshades in a cool interior, but The Sanders’s guests and locals enjoyed a newspaper, a meeting or a glass of wine under the warm yellow light. The Warm Modern Issue is in stores now.
