Den engelske arkitekten og designeren Norman Robert Foster (f.1935) regnes som en av de mest profilerte arkitekter i sin generasjon. Han er grunnlegger av Foster and Partners (1967) og har designet kjente bygninger som London City Hall, Millenium Bridge, Hearst Tower NY og Reichstag Berlin blant mange andre. Han har mottatt flere priser som blant andre Pritzker prisen (referert til som Nobelprisen for arkitektur), Stirling Prisen to ganger, samt Aga Khan Award for Architecture, – den største arkitektoniske utmerkelse i verden. Som høyt profilert engelskmann med usedvanlige meritter ble han også adlet i 1990, og tildelt tittelen som Baron Foster av Thames Bank i 1999. He has received several awards such as the Pritzker Price (referred to as the Nobel Prize of architecture), the Stirling Prize twice, as well as the Aga Khan Award for Architecture,- the largest architectural award in the world. Being such a high profiled Englishman he was also knighted in 1990, and titled as Baron Foster of Thmes Bank in 1999. In this video from Louisiana, he shares his best advice to the young.
