Past – Future

– Humans live in the tension between past and future. Architects build modern structures inspired by historical architecture, old design furniture relaunches, and designers combine 3D printing with old craftsmanship. During the fair we want to look into these meetings between past and future and what they mean for the design and interior industry, says Grete Sivertsen, creative director of the Oslo Design Fair.

The Norwegian contribution to this year’s furniture fair in Milan underlines this years theme. The critically acclaimed exhibition Everything is Connected will be shown for the first time in Norway as a part of Oslo Design Fair. You can read about the exhibition here.

The stylists Kirsten Visdal and Per Olav Sølvberg have curated this years exhibition where they interpret the future and the past through interior, and showcases that the fairs theme is highly relevant in the face of current design and interior trends.
