BIG´s proposal for the new Kistefos Museum is conceived as a simple beam that spans the river Randselva as a bridge connecting two edges of the building site.
The Design Museum will be closing at its current site on 30 June and will relocate to the former Commonwealth Institute building and open on 24 November.
